When it comes to creating value in a modern climate-changed world, it is impossible to ignore the importance of hybrid human-natural environments. 

I came to planning as a way to understand and add value to the places we live.  I believe that we can create a future where not only do humans not damage natural systems, but where we enhance them.  I am especially intrigued by ways in which we can bring natural systems into our lived spaces to the mutual benefit of people and the planet.  My favourite planning topics include soil regeneration, water management, food systems, and organic waste.

When not thinking about the endlessly fascinating web that is human-natural ecosystems I enjoy acting in, managing, and directing theatrical productions, crocheting whimsical items such as rugs and stuffed toys, exploring the areas around me, cooking with fresh local produce, and learning new things from interesting people.
